Offered for sale is a Rawlings model DW20 used by Bernie Williams of the New York Yankees during the 2000 ALCS. Williams
played for 16 season with the New York Yankees from 1991 to 2006. He retired with 2,336 hits, 287 HRs, 1,257 RBIs, and a .297
average. Bernie Williams was a 5-time All Star, 4-time World Series Champion, and 4-time Gold Glove Award winner. He was the
1996 ALCS MVP and won a Silver Slugger Award in 2002.
This 34.5", 32.1 oz gamer shows evidence of excellent use. Many ball marks and seam impressions are visible on the left, right,
front, and back barrel surfaces. There is some slight grain swelling from repeated contact as well as a couple of areas where the
grain has split. The handle has a light coat of pine tar near the center label and is not cracked. The knob has been stamped with
the model number (DW20) as well as ALCS 2000 noting that it was made for use during the 2000 American League
Championship Series. The barrel end is cupped and has no markings. Bernie has autographed the sweet spot in silver and he has
added the notation "SDG" which is common practice for him.
