2008-09 Louisville Slugger B.J. Upton T160
Offered for sale is a 2008-09 Louisville Slugger model T160 used by B.J. Upton during the 2009 season with the Tampa Bay
Rays. Just past the halfway point of only his 4th full season in the majors, BJ Upton has accumulated 343 hits, 57 HRs, and 260
RBIs along with a .261 career average in 602 career games.
This 34", 30.3 oz gamer shows evidence of outstanding use. Many ball marks, deeply embedded seam impressions, and ink
transfers are visible on all barrel surfaces with the heaviest concentration of use on the back barrel. There is a light coat of pine
tar on the uncracked handle and a small window of finish has been removed to allow for mandatory grain testing. Upton's #2 decal
is on the knob and it has been stamped with the TECO logo to show that it was tested and it passed.
This bat was likely a carry over from 2008 used in 2009. It is accompanied by an LOA from Hall of Fame Bats.
