Offered for sale is a Rawlings model MG99 used by Terry Steinbach of the Minnesota Twins during the 1999 season. Steinbach
played 14 season in the major leagues with the Oakland Athletics and the Minnesota Twins. He retired after the 1999 season with
1,453 hits, 162 HRs, and 745 RBIs. Steinbach was a 3-time All Star and was named the 1988 All Star Game MVP. He won his only
World Series title with the Athletics in 1989. During his career Steinbach caught no-hitters for both Dave Stewart (1990) and Eric
Milton (1999).
This 34", 32.5 oz gamer shows evidence of excellent use. Many ball marks and seam impressions are visible on the left barrel
hitting surface. Numerous blue ink transfers are visible as well. The handle has a moderate coat of pine tar/mota stick and has a
partially repaired crack. The knob has Terry's #36 as well as the factory stamped model number (MG99), batch code (069), and
year (99). The knob also has "31 Steinbach" written in blue pen noting the shipped weight of the bat. Terry's #36 is also marked
on the barrel end.
