Offered for sale is a Hillerich & Bradsby model K55 used by Dave Concepcion of the Cincinnati Reds between 1973 and 1975.
Concepcion was a 9-time all star, 5-time Gold Glove Award winner, and a 2-time World Series Champion. He played from 1970 to
1988, all 19 seasons with the Cincinnati Reds. He retired with 2,326 hits, 101 HRs, and 950 RBIs. He is widely considered
to be the best shortstop in the National League in the 1970s.

This 35", 32.2 oz gamer shows evidence of excellent use. Many ball marks, seam impressions, red rack marks, and cleat marks
are visible and there is some slight swelling from repeated contact. The back barrel has some finish damage that could be
upgraded with profession restoration. The handle has a moderate coat of pine tar and a small repaired crack. The knob is
stamped with the model number (K55) and Concepcion's #13 is written in fading black marker.
