Offered for sale is an Adirondack model 129X used by Tommie Agee with the New York Mets during the 1968 season. Agee
played from 1962 to 1973 with the Indians, White Sox, Mets, Astros, and Cardinals. Agee was an All Star in 1966 and 1967 and
won a World Series ring as a member of the 1969 Amazin' Mets. He was a 2-time Gold Glove Award winner (1966, 1970), and
was the 1966 AL Rookie of the Year as well as the 1969 NL Comeback Player of the Year. Agee retired after the 1973 season a
career .255 hitter with 999 hits, 130 HRs, and 433 RBIs. He will always be remembered for his play during the 1969 season.

This 36.25", 33.5 oz gamer shows evidence of tremendous use. Many ball marks and seam impressions are visible on the left and
back barrel surfaces. Slight grain swelling from repeated contact is also present. The handle has a moderate coat of pine tar and is
cracked with a sliver of wood missing. The knob is stamped with the model number (129X). Agee's #20 is written on the knob in
fading black marker. Agee has signed the left barrel in black marker.

This bat is accompanied by an LOA from Hall of Fame Bats. Great example of a key member of the 1969 Amazin' Mets rarely
seen and this one is autographed.
